Accommodations
Because of the change in dance venue, we have new information about camping and other accommodations situated close to the new hall in The Gardiner Community Center in Gardiner, Montana at the northern entrance to Yellowstone Park.
You may choose to stay in or close to Gardiner and commute into the park to adventure or stay inside Yellowstone and commute to the dance. Our main camping for our group will be at Yellowstone Destinations along the Yellowstone River. Visit the camping portal to make reservations at our main camp site:

CAMPING
IN or NEAR GARDINER
YELLOWSTONE DESTINATIONS is a private campground along
the Yellowstone River 8 miles north of Gardiner, MT at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Their standard price is $20/campsite of max 6 people. There are showers. There is a 36x40 ft wooden-floored rec hall, where we can have afternoon dances. There are also RV hook-up spaces and cabins to rent for those so inclined. It's across the road from a public hot springs.
YELLOWSTONE RV PARK is a Campground/RV park in Gardiner, with tent camping at $40 per 4-person site per night. There are showers and a whole RV city.
In order of distance from Gardiner (2-10 mi) along a dirt road, Eagle Creek, Timber Camp, and Bear Creek Forest Service campgrounds, and the latter two have free camping, but no showers and first come/first serve.
MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS campground is just inside Yellowstone National Park, but no showers or advance reservations.
Motels, cottages, cabins, and AirBNB's in the Gardiner area; all a little pricey because of location.

LODGING in YELLOWSTONE
Lake Lodge and its cabins don't open for use until June 10, but Lake Hotel has rooms for approx. $500 per night for a double and has cottages for approximately $300/night for a double. Making reservations as soon as possible is to be recommended. These also fill up by 6 months beforehand. Check the links below for help with accommodations.

The only campground open within a half hour of Lake Lodge is Bay Bridge. There are 400+ campsites, each for up to 6 people, and they say that reservations for these usually are full 6 months in advance. There are no first-come-first-served campsites at Bay Bridge. These are only at more peripheral campgrounds in the park. Fishing Bridge RV campground nearby is said to be closed through 2020 for construction. Otherwise there are other indoor and camping options like Grant Village 1/2 hour SW or Canyon Village a similar distance north.

With a National Park Senior pass, entrance to the park is free and campsites are half price. An annual pass is $20.
